Leeds were poor but wakey played really well, they wanted it more than leeds. Don't know if its just me but I find brian mcdermott one of the most dour coaches in sl, he seems so uninspiring

Leeds seem to always get up for the big matches but are inconsistent in the league. Their performance against Wigan in the cup was great.

I think that since McDermott's taken over Leeds have only lost 1 knock-out match. They've won all the rest. Compare that to their performances in the league over the past 2 seasons.

McDermott seems to just be John Kear albeit with a far better side than Kear ever had.

Wakefield did really well and can only beat whats in front of them. If they could pay like that week in week out they would make top 8. However as far as Agar goes I think he learnt how not to be a coach when he was with us

I actually think its the players that are turning it on when it comes to the crunch games as its become second nature to them now.

me too, although with the side he inherited he should be challenging for trophies. i suppose im surprised they arent more consistent in the league, that certainly wasnt as much of a problem under previous coaches in recent times

Hey up before you start saying LEEDS were poor lets give a massive credit to the WAKEFIELD players. I was no admirer of AGAR but he seems to have been given a little more money at WAKEY to do the job. I still would not have him back because if he could not get money for players at HULL FC he should have walked away. A big blame for our shambles in the past 7 years was the crap board. But letts still remember without this crap board from GATESHEAD we would have gone. There was not any support from the clubs and BRADFORD were the worst under CAISLEY. The quicker they go the better. We need to go down to 12 clubs and stop a lot off poor overseas player taking the place of our under 20s players. As you can see over the great divide they need vast amounts of AUSSIES come whatever to make up there team. Come on TAYLOR get signed for the BLACK & WHITES.
