I've thought that Radders is underappreciated for some time now. I think a fair bit of the criticism has come from him being played out of position (not badly IMO either, I hasten to add). I think it shows what kind of player he is when he's willing do what ever is best for the team. For me, I feel a lot more comfortable with our midfield defence when he's on. He seems to have calming influence to me. He puts himself about a bit too which is always good.

I for one, hope he does get an extention.

He was outstanding last night.He never stopped all the time he was on the pitch.Outstanding workrate.

He does great work particularly in defence which often goes unnoticed.

We would not have won without him last night IMO.

At the end of last season i thought we maybe should of got rid of him, but iv gotta say this season he has really played out of his skin.

I think I'm with you there. This year he is actually playing at prop instead of 13. So he has made the move from second row to prop (with a season in-between at 13 where he was not particularly impressive). I think for someone playing his first year as prop he is doing remarkably well.

Radders is the ultimate pro and was outstanding last night. I'm stunned at the amount of abuse and criticism he gets on here.

Agree. But I was doubtful after last year. I was really pleased when it became clear that he was moving to prop and I think he is getting better and better as the season goes on. Great player who is developing a more reliable off-load, he is a reliable defender, a top professional and a good club man.

I imagine that you also didn’t appreciate what a great player Tony Grimaldi was during his time at Hull FC?

Radders was fantastic last night and for me has had a very good season.

Different players but a very very good comparison there CN GRimaldi was questions by many FC fas who just did not get it, and the same goes for Radford in every team you need a couple of grafters (Plodder is totally out of order) hard yard, big tackling, occassinal passing, streetwise, willing to mix it types. He is worth another year but only at prop!
