Good young lad but I think between FC and KR we have all seen the best he has to offer and no better than Dowes

going in a backward direction if we re-sign him.

So I think most people would agree that we need to lose Cusack, Radford and possibly Dowes.

That leaves Ogre and Moa at prop, both of whom are quota players.

That means we need to recruit 2/3 British props without going overboard on the money. Lets have some realistic suggestions then please. I would take Wheeldon as 5th choice prop without any hesitation.

5th choice, only to play when we have injuries and for about £20-25K a year then I would probably agree.

luke burgess at leeds wud be ideal, but would want big cash to get him here...

I would take him on the proviso that Cussack and Dowes go and we invest the surplus cap in the right areas. Short sighted to let him go when we did for an over the hill Aussie like Cussack to be retained.

Think could be good as a back up option because apart from lms don't know many good props out of contract

is he worth £40-50k?? personally i don't think so.i would keep one of dowes or radford(probably dowes-younger).that would leave us trying to sign let's say 2 props.i am sure there are better options than wheeldon around.
