Tell me about it! Reckon this could be another Kear/Broadbent 'project'. I know he's 30 but he needs to get his career back on track and sort his head out a la Richie Moore style. Doubt he'll be on a big wage but rather an incentive of an improved deal at the end of the season if he can recapture the form he showed for you four or five years ago. When he's on top of his game there's no doubting his ability, hopefully our coaching staff can get his game back on track.

He's managed to control Brough, Moore, Bibey, all three came with bad reputations and Latus no angel either. Its not just Kear either he's got a more than able assistant in Beans a former GB prop who works closely with the forwards. I'm not saying we will see the best of him as I can't look in to the future but with his record so far at our club in JK I trust.

King woud be a god buy for Wakey. Money is tight at the club, but Kear manages things well in that respect, alwways putting out a good blend of youth and experience.
In repsonse to other comments, its true that Kingy's decline really began under Kear, although I think at the time that was more due to injury - so I don't see any reason their is a problem between them.
All in all, this is a good result. King gets a chance to get his game together and Hull can move on hopefully giving a squad number to another youngster.

I would just like to wish him luck wherever he goes. I think the move would do him good.

I know Clinton is heading their way but I cant believe they are releasing Mills. Yes Mills is crap but 'one in one out' leaves them still very thin in the forwards. A few injuries and they will be fooked !

So that's the squad down to 27 which includes 4 juniors. With a cloud hanging over Raynors season and Tickle rumoured to want a move does anybody else think the squads looking a bit light on numbers ?

Nope, it finally looks like it should, full of professionals and promising talent (with two exceptions IMHO), the only concern now is the coach, but we shall see.
