If Carlos, Ligi and Dre are not 100% fit then so early in the season and with cover for all 3 then no brainer they shouldn't be in the 17 for Cas. As Bonaire said if the 17 that plays on Sunday plays well and wins then they will have to wait to get their opportunity.

Yep pretty much the team I'd go with and think Dwyer has earned the starting spot. Evans & Brown are obvious choices for the bench with Ligi likely not risked and for me, with Dre also missing I think Cator gets the next spot on the bench. Then it's a choice of Lovodua or Houghton, I'd rather see Lovodua get the spot as he offers more but think Smith may go for Houghton.

Never really accepted this idea that you can't change a winning team. If you believe you can improve the side with the options available to you then you do it.

Very fair point. I think that is one of the positives of having good results/performances in the pre season matches. Particularly Scott, Griffin and Taylor, all of which cover the three who are 50/50. Personally would rest those who are doubtful for the Leeds match with it been a quick turnaround.

Looks good to me and I'd go for Dwyer starting given that he's been a stand out in pre-season.

Hopefully Tuimavave, Savelio and Sao come into contention for the Leeds game - given the short turnaround a couple of changes would be an option even if we win on Sunday.

For me, I would be massively targeting the Cas three quarters. Fonua, Mamo, Faraimo are not great with their decision making. I'd be throwing all kinds of shape at them
