| Quote Eton st robin="Eton st robin"Excellent post - we all have players who we dislike when they play against our teams. Cunningham at Saints would score from acting half and you knew it was coming but couldn't be prevented. He was always respected though. Chase, on the other hand who is a brilliant player, is despised because of his personality which shows in his play. Many supporters would be happy to see him injured. Kelly let Rovers down very badly when they needed him most and left Hudgell with no other option but to sack him. The result was a much weaker Rovers team with two vital games to play both of which were lost by one point. I and many others believe we would have remained in super league had he not gone walkabout. He would have been loathed wherever he went but going to the dark side only makes it easier to wish him bad fortune. This is not peculiar to Rovers fans, Cookie actually feared for his own safety for a while from angry FC fans. As you say it's all a pantomime.'"
Thats one view point and could well be a very well be the real one, but I doubt there are many that know the full facts of the situation.
Could well be that Hudgell is poor at man management. Lets face it, he does let his emotions as a fan take over some times.

Anyone who would be happy to see a player injured is a moron. There's no 'pantomime' about that.

| Quote ChampagneSuperRovers="ChampagneSuperRovers"Finally someone with a bit of sense.
If Danny Houghton or Gareth Ellis pulled up for example, there wouldn't be a single part of me that would think 'they deserve it'. These two are fine players, loyal and have done more in their game over here then Kelly could ever envisage.
I'd say the same if Kelly signed for Saints or someone. It's not anti Fc in the slightest.'"
There is no justification in enjoying a player getting injured. It's perverse.

I worry myself a little bit when Ben Cockayne gets a slight hamstring tweak.
God knows how I'd cope if it was anymore serious..............

Ok sir! I hope he sails through the 80 against Leeds, playing wonderful RL and delivers you the 2 points! It would make my weekend.

One thing for certain this certainly hasn't been the case whilst at Hull, the Cas home SL home game was the perfect example.
Although it obvious to every Rovers fan when he was clean through last Friday and was certain to score he faked an injury
