I hated the name, I never bought any merchandise.
I was extremely pleased when we changed back to Hull FC.
With Hull City its one mad man trying to change this, with Hull FC I believe it was a super league directive.

Not sure whether it was a directive, but most clubs changed their names at that point, certainly.

Or Smales - they like Leeds United - not as rich as the Healeys though

Rumour is that he's been back to the council and had another knock back! Its amazing really how stupid the man is, people all over the place are digging up headlines, press and soundbites which prove he is now contradicting his own arguments and statements my mum used to say you have to have a good memory to tell lies! But his sort invariably want their own way and usually get it!

I think it's worth considering the fact that we should maybe all watch this very carefully, because one day he will come after us, I'm sure our tenancy and use of the stadium and indeed our owners hero status in West Hull are on his hit list somewhere between Johnny Whiteley and the Council!!!

I personally think he will implode, have a meltdown and pull out of city leaving them in the mire. I don't want to see City in the mire, but think Allam is about to strop off like a little baby. He'll probably then buy KR!

as much as I dislike the guy, you do have to have a laugh at the city fans moaning, one word I keep reminding them of at work is 'history'! didn't exist when we we're complaining about the johnny whiteley pictures being taken down, that was part of our history removed at the time and we got criticised by the vast majority of city fans claiming that allem had the right! now the boot is on the other foot...............................

The History they have is being Hull City since 1904 They have had all their current success because they play at the KC Stadium. They signed up when they were at the end of their tether - no ground - no owner - nothing . Hull FC did the same - both clubs signed up with good intentions together and we will stay together at the KC- together until the bloody place falls down. No Mr Big will destroy that.

The fact Hull CITY now owe the Allams £70m and rising is causing a certain amount of angst amongst the City stalwarts. I have had it on good authority in the last hour that the city faithful feel he is ready to pull the rug and sell. A very good source of info not now involved with the club but has peoples fingers on the pulse.

What I can't understand is that the City fans can't see that they OWE money to this chimp..he has not given them a red cent without it going on the books for cashing in at some point...All this benefactor ..he's a businessman plain & simple, he doesn't give a flying fook about the CITY of Hull, its people or its sporting clubs/fans...
