All 3 are proven Head Coaches, who have taken a side to a major final.

I didn't hear today's interview but he hasn't offered excuses in any of the others.

What I want is a coach who doesn't just tell us that it isn't good enough and what we're doing wrong, but one who actually does something about it and implements change. 4 in a row now have talked a great game and shown little sign of backing it up.

Makes you wonder what the common factor is.

And yet your current one like ours was nothing more then an assistant coach. your last major final was 7 years ago. You can always hope to attract but never expect.

Broadly that they and he should do better. That it shouldn't take them three quarters of the game to start to play and that he was disappointed with the result. Not good enough.

Well in previous years when underperforming players weren't dropped it was blamed on Kath. She's gone but IMO it's still a problem for us. Gentle reckoned he'd pick on form but I'm not convinced this is entirely the case.

So possibly the common factor is simply a lack of balls. Maybe it's as simple as getting a coach the players will have a healthy fear of, as the past few have all seemed a bit like soft touches.
