Aspinwall at 13....why him and not Whiting? If we do that then its back to the Agar method.

Totally agree. In the glimpses we've seen in the last 2 games Whiting is the footballer that we are hoping Westerman will be. Westerman needs to up his game in all areas IMO. Aspinwall will be good coming off the bench.

amazed how people feel they can comment about Westerman at 13 after two games without the key playmaker in Seymour.

He played with Seymour against Bradford and Rovers so just the one game without him. Westerman should be given a run of games but he needs to up his performance in them to keep his place.

I agree, he has looked disjointed so far but you can see what they are trying to do with him. Hopefully it improves over time, its certainly to early to write off.

He might well turn out to be but being the best long term option doesn't preclude him from performing well in the short term. As I said he needs more games but he needs to up his game in the short to medium term. I hope he has a blinder against Cats.

Precisely. Wire did a job on Manu as they knew his threat.

I personally think people expect way to much from Westerman in terms of attack. He along with everyone else has had to adapt to the way Gentle wants individuals and the team play.

I'd keep giving Westerman a chance. If you remember last season he started slowly but made some great performances after a few weeks.

If he doesn't improve than I'd move him to the bench and start Aspinwall at 13, but I think he deserves to keep his place for the time being.

Hopefully we don't try and beat them up the middle of the park. We're much stronger out wide than they are. Need to exploit this.
