According to Chris 28 on the rumours thread it may not be a problem as he is already in the UK and the criminal record would not be a deal breaker ? |

He was convicted of an assault of some kind and given a suspended sentence. May not be a deal breaker but certainly complicates things. |

Chase rumour has surfaced as Wolfie had a pic with him yesterday and told people Chase said he was signing. He told me 5 minutes later he had made it up.

You would think that the media would highlight this, as most weeks he is linked/rumoured to be going to different clubs yet no mention that he would have problems due to his recent conviction, this leads me to believe he may well be actually allowed to move to another SL club if he wants. |

...but nothing in there says he will be refused a transfer of his visa in the UK just because of a conviction, and it they tried to use part 5, I'd certainly argue that by readmitting him when he came back from Oz with a conviction, the decision has been taken that his conduct is not an issue.
If the move story is all made up then this is irrelevant, but if he does want to move clubs while in the UK, he won't have a problem as long as he declares the conviction on the application.
