hope you understand what i mean and why...
I have bad memories of visits to widnes in the past and a scar on my chin to back it up , walking through less than friendly areas in widnes is not a plan in my opinion for that reason, and today the fella in front of me with bains with him wasnt impressed either ....
I have too many memories of coaches being bricked etc i think |

have been there too bud, but i didnt have any problems today, in fact, the widnes fans i did speak too were spot on, times change and the last time i saw real bother at widnes was in 1989 |

Stewarding wasn't the best I've seen. They didn't seem to be able to trust us, all the police watching us, stewards running as fast as they could into the stand for, as far as I could see, no apparant reason. Then they made us get the bus from a different side of the ground to what we'd got off (presumabley to seperate us from Widnes fans) at and expected us to know the streets of a town some of us have never been to before! When we asked a steward where to go for the bus, she didn't seem to have a clue and passed us onto someone else.

I have had the same experiences with visits to Hull.
Every club has its d*ckhead 'fans', Your lot has more than most TBH. |

Sorry to hear of some unpleasantries from the stewards. I'd encourage you all to make a group / individual complaints, it did seem particularly silly that they wouldn't open the corners of the stand when so many bought tickets. Hopefully they'll get their act together before next season. Hope you all enjoyed your day regardless.

What was the attendance all about? We usually get 3600 with less than 100 away fans. Now we actually get a big following from the away team and the attendance is worse than our championship games. Turnout from people in the south stand was very dissapointing.

Considering every time we went the kc when we were in superleague the coaches got stoned by hull fans i dont blame them for being cautious. Although i have to say the travelling fans today were superb. Great bunch. And i agree it was a bit of a joke closing off them seats i would be annoyed myself. Was chuffed with the widnes effort today and hope you enjoyed your visit. Good luck for rest of the season |
