In all fairness after what we've had to spend on the squad and the stadium and facilities in the last few years and the length of time we've been in SL compared to you, I'd be shocked if the respective figures for both clubs were any different to what they are.

In the same way I can't see how Rovers fans can criticise the hull fc setup, I find it hard to believe that hull fans are actually daft enough to think we're in some kind of financial meltdown.

I did not as I do not get too involved in the finances (as I do not understand them)..however when Hudge did the media article about losing 400k per season and saying this was unsustainable and you needed a 10k gate etc this kind of drew attention to your financial plight

Yes we need to average around 10k to start making inroads on the debt, but the point is the debt was not only planned, but vital in making the jump from being a NL club to a SL one.

All this talk that Hudge has spent beyond his means and dropped us in it, is complete fantasy. In fact, if he's guilty of anything, its being too honest about it and giving out certain facts that certain people (on both sides of the river) don't have the intellect to understand.

The facts are actually pretty straightforward and easy to understand. Saying that people who disagree with your particular interpretation are basically too thick to understand what's been said or printed is both arrogant and childish IMO.

Sorry but that is rubbish. You have payed over the odds on a number of contracts which were not a 'necessity'. The debt is higher then it could and should have been.

But without paying those contracts we wouldnt have attracted the calibre of players that we have done to a newly promoted club. Results would therefore have been poorer and crowds lower. Therefore revenue less and debts possibly higher than they are now.

Exactly. In any case no club has a 100% success rate with transfers. OK, the club could maybe have been more prudent with players, but of the big earners, who really has failed?

I think you are paying the contracts of a cup final appearing team. To consolidate you didnt need to.

If stories of trying to offload players are true then that kind of backs this up.

By contracts I am probably talking about 4 or 5 players that got more then their market value IMO not the Vellas of this world who have earnt the right to their deals.
