How has he been treated badly? He has been woeful this season and for the last dozen or so games has basically been taking the pi$$ out of the shirt. We can all agree the team as a whole have been grabage and the "tactics" etc have been crap but that doesn't mean we should all pretend Thorman deserves our respect after some of the heartless displays he has put in this season.

It says everything about the club that its taken until 3 games to go for the coach decide that Thorman isnt going to play again. The decision should have been made around round 7 or 8 nevermind now. Nothing personal but Thorman has been the worst signing I've seen in my 8 season supporting the club and I can't see how he is going to get another contract in SL. While many others have also been terrible for us this season, Thorman has been the worst, and he rightly attracts the criticism he has been recieving. However, the personal abuse that he has been starting to get in the past few games he has played is completely wrong and the club should have done something to try and protect him from such abuse

Just how have you done in games with Thorman playing to games without Thorman playing this year?

I'll be the first to admit I haven't seen him as often as a lot but in the games I have (1st half v Leeds apart) he hasn't been the worst player on the pitch. Even in the Leeds game when he was taken off Hull got worse in the 2nd half.

Maybe he is pretty poor but if you watch most half backs behind a beaten pack they will look awful.

We have lost loads with him, and loads without him


Tbf, if you dont count the first 5 games which are obviously looking like some sort of miracle at the moment, we have only won 4 games. Iirc, Thorman played in two of them

He was brought in to add a new dimension to our kicking game and take control of organising the team and 'pushing them around the park'. Had he done that he would have probably been forgiven for consistently producing some of the worst defensive displays from a Hull player I have ever seen in a long time of watching. He didn't offer any of the things he was brought in to do and therefore was one of the biggest liabilities in the team this season and that is saying something. Undoubtedly in the bottom echelon of players that I have seen play for Hull in terms of level of performance.

I just wonder how much better a sean long of this world would have done in a team with a beaten pack and a lack of runners. I must admit his kicking game was pretty woeful but still think he's had the failing s of others heaped on his shoulders and as such targetted by the fans leading to a crash in confidence.

We could sign the Aussie test team and still fail to make the play-offs due to the completely awful game plan, lack of set moves, lack of motivation etc etc etc. Still doesnt take away from the fact that Thorman has been an awful, awful player for us though
