If we couldn't get another halfback we should have stuck with James Webster. Stupid decision by Hull that has backfired. It would seem that the introduction of Jon Sharp (great player for Hull) has only resulted in failure. Thorman probably came as a result, Ben Cooper probably came as a result. I thought Sharp was the defensive coaching guru? We got a lesson tonight in how to defend with a committed rush defence. Offside ? Probably most of the time but if you get away with it you do it. It does need 100% commitment for 80 minutes from everyone mind.
Thorman has never been very good as his career evolution proves. The problem wasn't dropping him to fullback last night. It was hiring him in the first place. Same with Jon Sharp I fear.'"
As a player, I dont rate Thorman personaly,but as a human being you have to feel sorry for him,imagine how you would feel in the same position? |

I kind of agree he doesnt deserve all the flak as other players have performed just as bad as him this season yet he gets it rather than them.
But TBF the flak what he does get is nothing compared to what football players/managers/referees get some get death threats etc so it shouldnt affect him too much as i imagine it wont be anywhere near that scale |

So that allows open season on him does it but players are exempt ? FWIW I think pro Coaches and Players should be open to scrutiny with regard to their professional performance. That would include Thorman and Agar. |

Have to agree,but unfortunatly being a coach /manager puts you in the direct firing line.I don`t know Agar personaly,he seems a nice bloke,but when we pay good money,and are not getting the goods I feel we have a right to complain. |

I agree too but the same can be applied to Thorman. Players and coaches alike for me. |

That and the fact we still have an inability to stop leaking points since game one of this season.
Facts are yes we have a poor team, with too many average players but we also have a very poor coaching set up. I we had quality one way or another we'd get away with it like we have in the past few years.
Sad fact is we have now no real quality in terms of team or coach which all adds up to what we are now witnessing. |
