| I know rovers fans who refuse to go to the KC simply because they 'dont want to give us their money', works both ways (and that is far worse).

That's fine with us. It was one of your lot telling us to get down there!

| I can think of six reasons to attend if you support F.C.
1 Masochistic tendences.
2 Enjoy a good horror story.
3 Find complete enjoyment in chucking hard earned money away.
4 You are lucky to have keen eyesight to see the pitch.
5 The brotherly love that radiates towards you from the Robins.
6 You can say "I told you so" after the match.

| What we forget is that there will be many viewers from outside the Rugby league heartlands watching this game and as neutrals will be not only be watching a blood and thunder derby but enjoying the atmosphere and rivalry and gauging the reactions of both sets of fans etc and invariably become "involved and interested"
Shame if households south of the R.L. heartlands believe there is only one teams fans who have turned out to support their side and inevitiably make assumptions on the teams, the fans etc based on this game.

So i should go and pay over the odds to stand in a "stand" where i can see fook all just so that some shandy drinking person south of the R.L heartlands can say " By jove, that looks to be a spiffing game with all those fans mixing together and singing rude songs at each other".
Thats me decided then..........who has a spare ticket.......

I am so sorry but I have been once and don't want to go again. It's not the ground (although I have never been at the "away" end that is obviously so well liked by FC supporters) but it's the area that NCP is in. I felt uneasy and threatened, particularly when I entered the local pub. I hadn't intended to go back and unfortunately I haven't heard anything on here or elsewhere that has changed my mind yet (including from supporters of other teams) but that could change. I know that the majority of the supporters of both teams are fine but I was more bothered about those outside the ground who weren't wearing the red and white - mainly the ones with three eyes.

\Apart from the "three-eyes" comment, which was out of order (apologies), I meant every word. It was pretty unpleasant outside the ground. However, in the ground, I stood in the "best stand" which actually wasn't that bad. So my experience of the actual ground and games was pretty good. I think the whole "stadium" seemed to be facing the wrong direction and the wind howled from end-to-end so I would have been a bit diappointed with the set-up if I was a Rovers fan but facilities etc were okay. It was pretty new then and standards elsewhere (including Hull) have risen dramatically.

Made my evening, that post.
Terrified that neutrals, such as Huddersfield supporters for example, might make some profound judgements about Hull FC on the basis of the number of fans at this game. What a load of cack.
