| I know a few guys very high up at City and asked them about the extension a few weeks ago. They both said that it would not be happening for a few years to come. If it was to go ahead, the East stand season ticket holders would not be affected as the 2nd tier would be set back from the 1st, like the West stand.
There would also be no reason for Hull FC to move out as both parties concerned agree that it is a shared stadium!

Wrong
We sold out every home game apart from 1 IIRC, it was also the same for away games everyone was sold out apart from 2 or 3 i think

As for the extension not happening? If you think that it won't, you are kidding yourself.'"
Think it will be atleast 2 years before the council even start to plan expanding the stadium cause they will wait for us establish in the PL first.

So all but the united game did not sell out, it may only be 100 seats but still not sold out. When united have a 76,000 all seated stadium but there are over 100,000 applications for tickets, now that's grounds for expansion.

| To justify an expansion at the KC, Hull City must stay in the premier league for another 2 seasons at least before anything is decided. They need the premier league's TV money and need to be secure in it first.
If they had gone down this season, I really don't think they would've come back. Then they would be playing in front of 15-20 thousand empty seats too

| Quote: CityFC "PD was on Humberside lately saying that the original designers were drawing up the plans to take the Stadium capacity to either 40,000 or 45,000.'"
The reason that these plans are being drawn up is to show the FA that the KC can be expanded above 40,000 as that is the minimum capacity for a ground holding a World cup match.
Do you honestly believe that the KC will be picked to hold any world cup fixtures if the FA actually is picked to hold the 2018 World cup, Certain elements of the premiership don't even think City should be in the premiership let alone that the KC stadium should be allowed to hold such fixtures.
And the only way the KC will ever be expanded to 40,000+ is if it actually gets these fixtures otherwise forget it as although City are able to draw full houses on a 25,000 stadium the max the stadium will increase is by 7,000 and that will only be after City have managed to stay in the premiership for another couple of seasons and then the council will hope to get funding to help expand the stadium so don't expect the capacity to raise anytime soon..

The lowest League attenadance was 24282. That was lower than the rest of the games due to Wigan not selling all their tickets.
Season tickets were limited to 20500 and the Club could have sold quite a few more. Like it or not, with City in the Premier League, the KC will be/was full every Home League game.

Your right but the problem city have is if they drop a division plenty of fans wont carry on getting passes etc. as seen by the mad rush for tickets as soon as people knew they where staying up. for a club to spend £40mill on the ground when they need it for players to stay in the league to fill the ground is a no brainer. if the stadium expands it will be bit by bit

Can't really disagree there, but it has to be said that over 19,000 season ticket holders re-newed before they knew which League City would be playing in next season.

[sizeWho is going to pay for it .......................... ?[/size
Try working out how much city and SMC will make on the extra seats per season and set that against the cost of building
10k x 20 games at £25 say = around £500,000 extra revenue for a spending around £15 million ....................... keep telling me Duffen will pay

Shouldn't that be £5,000,000?

we will be at kc until our lease runs out and longer m'thinks'"
Duffen did approach HCC 2 months ago to review the piece of work that was done 12-24 months ago to price the expansion. He simply wanted the price re-working based on the current economic climate.
40000 was talked about as being the extension number with the additional seats being on the top of the east stand and then one of north or south stand i believe.
Any developments would be funded by Duffen. This doesnt impact Hull FC in any way other than our season possibly being disrupted by any developments. Will not be happening prior to the next premiership season though as far as im aware.
