I'd have sprinklers above the toilet stalls so the weak minded phlegm-swallowers get drenched when they spark up.'"
TBF i was in the gents in the west stand as the stewards were nearly turnfing someone out for smoking in the cubicle.

No, it's against the law, the stadium is a designated puiblic place. In fact what we should do one week is have Police handing out fines, that would stop people.

Only parts of stadiums that are enclosed or substantially enclosed are required by law to be smokefree. However, many sports stadiums have decided to go beyond these requirements and become smokefree throughout.

Enclosed - Premises are considered to be enclosed if they have a ceiling or roof and, except for doors, windows or passageways, are wholly enclosed, whether on a permanent or temporary basis.
Substantially Enclosed - Premises are considered to be substantially enclosed if they have a ceiling or roof, but have an opening in the walls, which is less than half of the total areas of walls. The area of the opening does not include doors, windows or any other fittings that can be opened or shut.

"I definately feel there will be another try Ray" - Jonathon Davies, Saturday 27th August 2005.: |

| A smoking shelter cannot have enclosed sides as far as I am aware. This makes the seating area at the KC unsuitable as a smoking shelter as all of the sides are enclosed. However caravan park is another matter altogether and any of their stands could officially be used as a smoking shelter .

Whatever, West Park is a public place, but it isn't a DESIGNATED NON-SOKING PUBLIC PLACE.
Central station in Glasgow isn't enclosed, but it's been a DPP for ages.
Anyay, hopefully the Govrnment will add even more tax onto it on Wednesday and more people will give up.

they will never do that, in fact they have to replace the VAT reduction loss of income somehow, expect the fuel price accumulatot to make a comeback I am afraid, and airport departure taxes and insurance tax to increase s well.
