| Quote: Jake the Peg "Exciting times. As has been said, we won't be moving players on if we don't have replacements. o'carroll is an interesting one. Why would we let a player go now when we appear to be short of player in that position now?
Has he asked to go? Or has he done something wrong? Surely can't be a salary cap issue'"
I am assuming it's because Gentle is an astute coach and simply doesn't see anything he can work with in O'Carroll. I am more optimistic with every bit of deadwood released by the club at the moment because it tells me with have the right people in charge who recognise that this squad is a million miles away from being good enough. Still a few to go yet IMO.

I actually believe there is something in this story. I can see a deal involving Danny Tickle if I'm honest.

| Lets hope so, I lose Tickle (who wants out anyway) for the best British 7.
Then make a move for Whitehead as Tickles replacement.
Still don't think this will happen, but nice if it did.

| Brough is obviously a top player and would be a great signing. Still got issues though, him and chase out til the early hours of the morning during England training camp at Loughborough. Still I'd take him at wakey!

Isn't Clark already on a 5 yr contract at Cas? Warrington had 2 bids turned down apparently.

| I'm on about brierly. Clark is on a 5 year deal but is there any point in them keeping a player who wants to be elsewhere?

| Brierley will get a contract offer from Cas.
As for Clark, He is a Tigers fan, Its his hometown club, He will quickly get his head down when fit again and start showing his form to try and force his way into the England set up. I don't think he was desperate to leave, I just think he was rather annoyed he wasn't even allowed to hear what Warrington could offer him.
Either way. It would take a monster transfer fee to sign him, My worry been. Even if Wire paid 500k. They are getting a good deal.

He'll already know what wire are offering and it's led to him asking for a transfer. It will happen. Only thing to be sorted is how much cash they give you

with Wakeys ground being announced and Cas being nowhere near moving, I'd imagine most Cas players will want out until things are certain, £500k for Clark is cloud cuckoo money.

| Still expecting Holdsworth to come, along with Crookes, Johnson, Paea and a backrower from Bulls as they go into administration. If Tickle goes then use his fee for Bateman or sign Elima or whitehead.

| Evarn Tuimavave? Was to join SL side with immediate effect but looks like they have to clear some cap space.
