You really do irritate the Hell out of me Mr Allam jnr - I presume because you park your scooter within the confines of our Stadium you don't realise that Walton Street is used as a Car Park for us (Hull FC) and the Local Football team who I believe aspire to attract the likes of Man United and other proper great football teams in our country to play them shortly. I remember his first interview offering cheap tickets so everyone can see City in the Premier League. And when asked about Rugby League responded with a line of only investing cash if both teams merged as it would be unfair to support just one club.

Fast forward a couple of years with this latest interview, we can now understand how he was looking to finance some of those cheaper tickets and he is also asking the council to give him the stadium so he can ensure one of the cities sporting teams is self financing.

Ask each club in the Premier League or closer to home NH or AP how sports clubs tend to be financed in the current economic climate. "We are not football people, we are business people. The man is not for turning." seems to be a direct quote from Dr Allam and would suggest the self financing model is there intention rather than a gift.

On a personal note for Dr Allam can anyone one here even start to think of a price a person would be able to attract for a self financing football club in the Premier League on the open market?
