Peter Hood tonight confirmed that rivals Hull FC have made an approach for Andy Lynch – and offered a fee for the Bulls skipper.
The Bradford chairman was speaking at a fans’ forum at Odsal, where supporters fired questions at Hood, head coach Mick Potter, chief executive Ryan Duckett, head of youth development Paul Medley and director Andrew Bennett.
Asked about Hull’s interest in prop Lynch, who has one year remaining on his Bulls contract, Hood told fans: “It’s no secret that Hull FC have come in for Andy Lynch and made an approach for his services. And yes, they have offered a transfer fee. But has anything happened? No, it hasn’t.”

Having read a few post's on the Bulls forum I seems to me this move is more likely to happen than not. As you say they could cash in now and with the Bulls obvious cash flow problems combined with Lynch's age this would seem the most sensible and likely way to go. |

He's by far the best that could be available, which is not much of a compliment given how sp good British props are at the moment. His age isn't too much of an issue for me, good for 2 years with an option for a 3rd in our favour. Iirc his injury record is very good. |
