| Jake the Peg:I can't see this one working out well. Injuries and suspensions are an issue plus he's 34/35. I can't remember the last time I saw him have a good game. Hopefully he was cheap. We definitely should have looked for a 2nd rower with that quota spot though I think we had to take watts available. He needs anew challenge we can spell him esp with Kinght and Eseh coming. I’m sure Mylers not dumb enough to allow this to limit our acquisition of back rowers/centres. As is said often on this forum we have to trust this administration- they haven’t made a bad start given where we started

| Jake the Peg:maguire saying they let him go as his body wasn't up to operating in a full time environment Bodes well As others have said, I think it's a no lose situation for us. Even if we only get 10 games out of him, he reduces the playing minutes of those around him. He does seem to have grown up a bit over the last couple of years, so hopefully his experience can help progress the young lads too.

All sounds a bit sour grapes from McGuires point of view Maybe but why let him go if he's fit and could do a job for you when you're in cas' position?

His termination forbids him for signing for a SL club. Can Cas stipulate that? They won't hold his registration once he's released There was talk they’d fallen out so maybe it’s not as amicable as McGuire is making out. If we get 10 games out of him as others have said it’ll be a decent signing.

| All DM's comments just sound like excuses and just saying whatever he can to keep Cas fans off his back to me. Saying he's signed for crazy money and then to barely train, just sounds ridiculous. Does anybody genuinely believe Cartwright is the type of guy who would let somebody on the pitch who hasn't worked as hard in training as every other player on the team. I'm quite confident Watts will be in for a tougher few weeks of training than he ever received in his years at Cas.

| Can't imagine Cartwright or Myler signing off the move with no or limited training, as for crazy money...could be very little, doubt Watts or FC have told a sour Maguire how much we are paying him.
