| Quote ComeOnYouUll="ComeOnYouUll"It'll be the first time I've bought both home and away shirts since 2006. I didn't buy either in 2013.
Should there be a special shirt for a potential Bath RU or New Zealand game I'd be tempted to get that too. Very impressed with the 150th anniversary merchandise so far.'"
I bought home last year and away the previous 2. Never got both though. There's a renewed appetite for a white star, but I think it's timely and appropriate to recognise Steve as a modern day legend in a landmark year and leave options open for a white star in the future. I'm not a huge fan of predominantly black shirts so a balanced black/white traditional home kit and a different twist with charity angle for the away is ideal IMO. The club has done a good job on the launches too, using social media to great effect for home and getting traditional media coverage for away.

| Interesting that steve's wife (or partner) said in a TV interview she only found out about it a few days ago.

They kept it quiet so it wouldn't leak out.....can't see the problem.

On the home kit, the stripes need to go down away from the neck toward the shoulder not across so you have 'hoops' all the way down the body. The sleeve from the shoulder is then hooped down, subtle difference but that IS the traditional design, the bands are too wide also.
The collar as well is horrible, the width is disproportionate AND it's also the wrong colour and should be white, especially as there is a block of black on the shoulders right next to it...all IMO of course.
I was expecting a more 'traditional' looking shirt and honestly this just isn't.
And as i said, the away one aside from the Prescott bit is god awful.
What they should have done is come up with a fair few choices and put them up on the website & in the HDM etc and let fans vote what they like before a final decision is made (with regard the home shirt and/or any special editions). They could have even had a competition for fans to produce a design of their own which would of course needed to be have being done earlier this year. Just another short sighted & lost opportunity.

Who said it was a problem? just commenting that it's interesting the club did it off their own back.
And it did leak out, people were saying about it on here for weeks before the launch

Maybe you should start supporting Rovers.
There doesn't appear to be anything the club does which meets with your approval.
Perhaps your constant criticism will not fall on deaf ears on the other side of the river.

Hmmm! I don't mind your post knocker, mostly agree with alot your saying, maybe not the way you say them, but I find it hard to disagree with most. But!!! This is just zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz your moaning for the sake of moaning, apart from the saints kits, it's easy better than rest, and the club have played a blinder on the marketing, record sales on the home shirt, then boom with the away keeping it hush and releasing it weeks later, with the Prescott foundation on the front. Well done hull , first time in a long long time I'm going to buy both and I think alot of others will to

gotta agree. Bit much to say it's not a traditional shirt due to the collar & sleeve.
I Love the away strip. Been a bit basic n safe for a while. I'll have the home 1 and looking at some off field bits. Most I'll have had for yrs. Think a few the same!
