great gesture by pearson, but what if you went last night and either decided not to re-new your pass after last season or simply cant afford a pass and pay to go when you can
there should be that choice, a straight refund or money off your pass next season!'"
I disagree, the club didn't have to offer any sort of compensation, it is a good-will gesture and I bet the majority of the supporters who travelled are pass-holders anyway.
and if you aren't getting a pass, there's nothing to stop you giving your ticket to someone who is getting a pass and getting your re-fund that way.
Pearson's statement is spot on IMO, and I have faith he will do whatever is needed to sort it out

| Quote: HKR Smithy "If you have another stirring campaign for passes with as much positivity behind it as 'bel13ve' then no maybe youre right. The top 4 beckons. And dont worry once there you wont get embarrassed in the playoffs again, AP said so.
Pass sales will always happen no matter how bad things are.As a Rovers supporter you should know that.

I think most fans would have accepted his apology end of, he didn't have to offer the £10 (conditional) refund but as he has you're now moaning that it should be a straight refund, the two Dobbins you agree with were offered nothing for their fiasco performance against wigan. Maybe those fans who won't be getting a season pass will be able to flog their Hudds tickets to fellow passholders for a fiver?
Well done AP great gesture, just retrieved my ticket from the bin, so £10 off my 2014 season pass which will be spent in the club shop.

well I was told a few fans were firing off emails to the club demanding a refund from last night so maybe that's why pearson acted, i agree pearson doesn't have to offer the £10-15 off their passes but if you are offering it you should offer an alternative if you don't buy a pass

| Very rare in the World of Sport that an owner apologises for his teams failings and then gives the fans their money back so well done.Fantastic gesture by an owner that is obviously hurting as much as the fans.

| Good gesture, but nothing will happen on the player front because it can't. You can't just axe players because they aren't winning games. Not how sport works I'm afraid.

| How many fans have actually still got their ticket 48 hours after an away game? Most of them will have gone straight in the bin, on the concourse, onto the pavement or a number of other places.
What about those fans who have for some strange reason kept their ticket but have had enough and don't want/can't afford a season pass?

They won't get a refund, I thought it was pretty simple.
It's a great gesture by AP & one that you don't normally see. I do feel sorry for the people that went to watch that but like somebody said the other day, if the team were playing brilliant rugby & winning every game would people be offering to pay more to the club?
