bigger already! put about half a stone on since last year! but muscle not bulk so not noticed as much! plus he pretty tall, still has lowest body fat reading in team! will be a real physical specimen when hes finished. Already is pretty strong to. Never been thrown around when playing 1st team. doesnt get turned on his back often and usually gets fast play of the balls. Those off tonight can watch him and some of the other decent prospects in the 20s as their playing before 1st team |

i'm not so sure about craig hall, i like him and he scores some good tries - indeed when at hull he could score tries that no other player could, but dosn't have the all round game to be a week in week out player at superleague level. his rovers career seems a bit stop start already too |

He looked a lot bigger when he came on against Oldham to what he did at the start of the year, i commented at the time.
He is only 18/19 and has plenty of time. The difference between him and Craig Hall is that Hally didnt want to put on weight, Reece does |

Fair point. I guess I was comparing him to Briscoe and that's not really fair as they are two different body types. |

It was a retort to someone trying to get in a cheap shot at Hull Fc signing an up and coming youngster from a lower league team. A youngster who wasn't "developed" by York Rugby league as it happens. How much "development" can they put in over the course of 12 months or so? |

Bit soon to be writing Lynne off IMO. The kid is very rapid and isn't the 6 stone weakling some seem to be claiming. He's always looked pretty strong when carrying the ball back to me and he's still got plenty of growing to do.
He's too good for the U20's though and needs to go out and play for a lower league side on a dual contract to build his awareness and confidence.
I think he'll play plenty of 1st team matches for us in the future

Agreed. If the signing (short term) of Lineham helps to focus Lyne's efforts to reaching the level he needs to be then it'll have been worth it just for that. |
