Mid season it is then. Had a feeling it might be. Oh well - I guess that leaves enough time to do a proper search for a decent coach, although recruitment is likely to be pretty much finished by then.

I don't suppose it leave any more time to get a decent coach than if they were looking now. After all, if they haven't even discussed Agar's position yet, they certainly won't be discussing his potential replacement, much less actively looking for him.
I have an unpleasant feeling we'll get to mid season in about 8th place, the club will tell us how well Rich has done to turn things around after our poor start and we'll be stuck with him for 2012 as well. |

He'll never walk, because he knows he'll never get another SL job. He's going to hang onto this one as long as is humanly possible. With this board, that could be a long time. I've nothing but respect for what they've achieved off the pitch, but I think they're consistently selling us short on the playing side. |

I meant in comparison to him going at the end of the season. It would clearly be preferable if he went now or if we were at least considering that as a possibility and actively looking around.

I have the same feeling. Mind you, I'm naturally pessimistic and our recent history has only served to reinforce that.  |
