Like I said a fortnight ago, we can have him but only on loan. Agar wants him long term though. He knows what we need but he's playing the waiting game. We don't want a poor 6 or 7 on long term deals, he's waiting for the right players to become available, one should be here very soon and his halfs partner will be here for 2012 when we have the wages available.

For me we need a player who can play both hooker and in the halves confidently, a Drew/Leuleui/Robinson type, to interchange with Houghton in the hooking off the bench and provide sound cover Longy/Horney's inevitable injuries. The problem, though, is who. Agar seems to be like a dog with a bone for Myler, on a long term basis, but I just can't see it myself.

Thats how i see it,i reckon agar has been busy shopping for a few weeks,i can see a couple of players announced by the weekend now that the berro departure is sorted,maybe a fullback so tansey can cover in the halfs and at 9,like agar as always said his main aim is to get the balance of the squad right,one things for certain is we have a fair few quid available,depends wether the right players are available now,also will we fill a quota spot now or wait? all will be revealed. |
