It looks impressive that Hall is your 24, but with no 5 or 18 that is only 22 senior players - about what every other club has. The spare cash from Raynor's departure will be handy if you need an emergency loan signing, at least, but you have gone for quality over quantity this year.

Anticipation and reality rarely match - if you'd told me Vella would miss a big chunk of 2009 with injury, Fozzard would fade through the season and Mills and Aizue would barely play that would have looked like Rovers' year down the pan. You never can tell...

Lets be honest none of the above where very influential last season, even the legendary Gene. Fozzy did nothing but a solid job, didn't out perform Wheeldon who was pretty good for us, Macca should have got more game time IMO.

So if we do finally close out the signing of Clinton and the emergence of Watts(who looked good against an experienced Bradford pack)we will be no worse off.

Maybe, you were lucky with very few injuries though, (and long may that continue for both clubs).

With regards Raynor's (cash) we should only use it on a half back to bring in to be long's long time replacement. IMHO.

Thats exactly what the club are hoping to do but its only gonna be a young lad.

Havent you seen there other signings play ? On top of Menzies, Lynch, Langley etc there side will go well.

Brown is the type of coach that will change his plays from week to week to maintain that surprise element.

Yes there pack is light weight but very skill full . If Clinton can bring his form from his Penrith days he'll be a great signing. Also they have a very clever coach.
