He is right depending on how the coach wants the team to play. Loose man used to be a creative role whereas a lot of teams just use it as an extra battering ram these days.

One thing i prefer is a more ball playing loose man i feel it gives the team a good attacking triangle with plenty of options, granted this year i feel tansey will come up from full back to play a bit of this role, but i thought Mcmenemy is the typical type Loose man for me robust but gave you something in attack.

Yeah he is right because under his Captaincy and Agar's leadership we finished bottom last year and next to bottom the year before. Leeds have a world class player at 13 in Sinfield and Sculthorpoe was no battering ram when they ruled. If you play 13 as an 8 you get what you deserve. Wise Up

Reckon we'll finish in the play offs, can't see us getting in the top 4 just yet though, top 6 should be the target. Hopefully a win at Wembley too

Doesnt seem to have botherd the Aussies does it...they use 3 2nd rowers.....i like a ball playing 13 but most teams use a extra 2nd rower as a 13 now.

It's difficult to predict were we will finish this season, I'm really hoping to see us in the top 6, fingers crossed at the higher end. Got to say though I'm lookin forward to seeing a bit of BIFF, bring it on!!!

The loose forward role is split amongst SL and NRL sides, some prefer the extra battering ram and some prefer the more creative player. I believe a mixture of the two is the best option although it depends on the personel. Leeds for example have Sinfield who can do both roles when required.

Also a lot of sides emply a prop at 13 for the first 4/5 games of the year when grounds tend to be heavier, Saints, Hudds, Leeds, Wire and us all do that.

So yeah wise up. Radford at 13 was not the reason we finished so low down the table, it was a lack of halves that was our main issue with scoring tries.

I never said Radford at 13 was the reason , I said Radford as Captain and Agar as coach gave us our worst 2 seasons practically ever ! Last season was utterly shocking regardless of a 7 & 6 !!!
