Nice to see a serious subject reduced to a ridiculous soundbite.
It's hardly about the animal being 'sacred' and 'needing love'. It's about not keeping animals in conditions that constitute cruelty. I would contest that locking animals in a shed, never to see the light of day, is indeed cruel and should not be allowed.
