I think he was always likely to go at the end of the season but its a shame it has to be under these circumstances.

He has always done his best and has been a real professional.

Agreed, that was one of the best performances from a fullback I have ever seen, his kick returns were out of this world, put us on the front foot for a great win, Blacklock was quality aswell that night, two players who got mixed reactions from the fans but what we would give now to have a team that could destroy Leeds like that in there back yard.

Its a shame about his injuries and then lack of confidence, because otherwise I think he could have carried on as he left off with his form at the back end of the 2006 season in our GF run in.
