Spot on Paul. Duffin stopped international rugby which I feel has contributed to the lack of decent World Cup games at the stadium, and now this with Allam.
It has to be independent OR we need it to have a board which represents all parties inc HKR if need be given its a stadium for the whole city / East Riding. |

As Paul said, potentially great news. Although the tone and content of the Allams response to Councillor Brady this evening leads me to be less optimistic than you are. |

The SMC should be an independent trust with no operational responsibilities or profit opportunities resting with any tenant club. This doesn't preclude paying competitive salaries for those in charge but any "profits" should be reinvested back into the stadium and any surpluses should be distributed to local charities.

My main hope is these are the last desperate moves of a guy who never got what he wanted ultimately and is now trying to ruffle a few feathers before he disappears.
The problem is he has enough money to carry on being a pain for as long as he wants.
Surely though ther council will see how he has behaved and make sure this isn't allowed to happen again with the SMC.
