I think the idea of taking Foster over Crookes as a back up to Lineham is a completely redundant one. Why would he swap not getting a game at Saints for not getting a game for us? If he leaves Saints, it's for first team rugby, which he's not good enough for at the top end of the table, so he's just not really what we need.

Well, Prince & Miller both received final offers, hopefully we'll have better news from the Miller camp.

I've gone on record saying he was my preferred choice from the start.

Don't see the point in retaining Aspinwall, forwards are done and it would be spending cap for the sake of it, IMO.

Disappointing news today....but look on the bright side, at least we haven't started to target any Batley players to strengthen our squad just yet.

I would say naive more than hollow , its obviously not from the lack trying on Pearsons part tbf .
