Being pedantic, you actually named 7. 6 is still with Lynch OR Walker:
1. Lynch OR Walker
2. Watts
3. Paea
4. Green
5. Bowden
6. Johnson

| We also have Tom Spencer who's been out at Leigh on DR but has played in the first team. Pretty sure Greg Burke has/can play at prop too

| Tigers also have 6 props on books :-
Ryan Boyle. Craig Huby, Jonathan Walker, Keith Mason, Nathan Massey and Dan Fleming.
We had 8 recently with Ben Davies and Steve Nash but both have left for pastures new.

I would have thought that most, if not all, of those mentioned from Wigan, Catalans, and Leeds would be in their respective 25s.
I think it depends on how many backrowers you also have. Like for example Hudds, they have 4 or 5 props, but with a few backrowers who can move up if needed (Chan, Patrick). Our squad is more the opposite, we have props who can move down (Watts, Johnson, Green).
We're only looking like 4 recognised backrowers next year (including Pitts), so having the extra props may not be a bad thing. Wigan are similar, how many backrowers do they have, and how often do you see any them filling in at prop?

If we are getting Walker for Lynch I think that's a young and inexperienced pack.
We are losing O'Meley, Lynch and Tickle and not replacing them with anything near the same quality.
We have struggled with our go forward this year and I can't see us doing any better next year.

I agree about the loss of experience. If we had a bit more size and experience already signed up, I'd be fine with 6, but like you would quite like us to bring in one more prop of the right quality if possible.

Go forward is most games have been fine and would improve if we offloaded a bit more like the previous season.
Our main problem has been taking advantage when in the the opposition 20 and that has been down to not having regular halfbacks, when we have we looked a much better team.
Our main problem is all our backrowers are simalar, all workhorses, we could do with a line breaking backrow forward and that would be my priority over a prop.
I woud be concerned over losing lynch for an inexperienced and injury pron forward.
Lynch has been hardly criticized this season and will be a big loss. I'd keep him anfpd look for a better replacement then walker.
Hubby would be a better option.

We have traditionally had a strong pack including in recent years but this year we seem to struggle to make ground and other teams (e.g. Cats away in the league game and Rovers) have been able to go straight up the middle against us.
I agree with you about the offloads. Last year we had Manu and we also had Lynch and Watts offloading which they haven't done as much this year.
We do need another tackle-busting forward, either a big evil prop or a Manu style second row, because our pack for next season is looking young, inexperienced and lightweight.

| Promising youngsters are great but we can't have a side filled with them. We need some quality to go alongside them.
If we lose
o'meley
lynch
tickle
galea
Briscoe
and replace them with
walker
Thompson
paea
Then we've gone miles backwards from a squad that hasn't been good enough this year
Surely we must have a couple of other quality players lined up?
The youngsters that gentle has signed/is rumoured to be signing have hardly been top drawer either
crookes
arundell
Thompson
walker
miller
All have a lot to do to prove themselves
