Problem is Scott, Carlos and Sutcliffe don't offer value for money, all aren't good enough to justify keeping for the amount of games they play. Not saying Litten is the answer, and very concerned about our centres, which is pretty weak, but not sure keeping any of those three was the answer. Sutcliffe and Carlos were on big money, could make an argument for Scott.

I believe we will be better next year, and am pleased Myler has changed as much was possible in in one go.

Amir Bourouh is the big unknown next year. I think he'll be the starting nine. Could be a star, could be a dud.

Really hope so, he made a scintillating break after coming on against us, but concern about his game time also, we’re in a right mess and all real fans have heads in their hands, unbelievable drop into obscurity.

Salford have a good squad. They're a much better team than the two teams that have just battered us, but yes, we have essentially signed two players who have fallen out of favour there.

Also Salford play Mellor at nine, then I think Shorrocks comes on, or sometimes the ex rovers half “ forgot his name” comes in at nine, in other words Salford, unlike us, do not have to play their young kids in great abundance like we do.

Of course they do, it works for them, maybe he’s 23, Mellor and Atkins are around ten years older than him.

It’s sort of sums us up, they have three adequate replacements they can play regularly at nine without overplaying their youth, we on the other hand, hammer our youth, and sign inexperienced positional players.

Nobody more than me would welcome an Impape, Walker, Clarke, or Parcel but it ain’t happening.
