Reardon is a quality full back on his day.
We had a woman beater in our side a couple of years ago and we got mighty piissed off when he fooked off to the scum.
The most he will get is 6 months which will be halved for good behaviour. ( he is being tried in a mags court not crown so max sentence is 6 months) I really see no point whatso ever though in signing a man for 2 weeks.
I am disappointed in the club, but not at all suprised by this turn of events.
On the point of Briscoe at full back I thought he played well for the U18s today, but isn't quite ready for SL.'"
Don't know about courts etc but taking the above true just to put a different slant on this , Hull have just launched (in conjuction with Domestic vilonce groups) a perpratrator programme were men who have been found guilty of domestic vilonce go on the programme to deal with their anger / resons (excuses) for violence against women / their beliefs etc to try to stop repeat offending . This is the only kind in the country now if our new signing is going to go through this programme I can see him receiving a suspended sentence . |

Fair point, although it was Reardons form playing at fullback which resulted in the GB call up in my opinion as if you have the attributes to be a good fullback you will be able to do job on the wing, and without being sure id guess that if you look further back Reardon will probabally have had more junior honours and various rep honours etc to suggest he was rated higher. |

He gained international recognition whilst playing at FB for his club though. |

I was thinking more on the lines of the insults he/she was firing at a player who served your club with bravery and honesty and did not leave you voluntarily. |

I have always had a lot of respect for Briscoe and have never questioned his motives or blamed him for joining Rovers and if im honest although I dont like the club I always like to see him doing well, up until his goading of the Hull fans on friday, I expected more from a player who was still a favourite of Hull fans. |
