Whiting was poor last week so if he was again then maybe it's worth giving Turner a shot? Just a thought.

Whiting doesn't play poorly very often, he's also a lot stronger in defence than turner however imo turner offeres a bit more in attack and sounds like he took his try well today so its a tough choice

| Indeed, credit where it's due after a win in a game where we should have expected to win following an abysmal defeat last week. It's an indication of how low we are as a club and how little ambition some fans have

| Great comeback which showed character from the team but this doesn't change my opinion that Agar is holding us back.

| I'm not sure how giving credit for a win in isolation shows lack of ambition. Taking it as a marker for the season as a whole then yes, daft deluded unabitious s0ds, but I don't think anyone has said that

| I'm really happy with the win, could never for the life of me want us to loose. I do not think Agar is the right man for the job, but I'd be very happy if this game was the start of being proved wrong.

Would agree (what a surprise ). I believe we're not harnessing what we have.
The thing for me is that we don't have the grunt up front to go with a forward based game especially with Ogre out. We do have some very good backrowers in Manu and Westy who can cause trouble wide all day long and 2 very good wingers (Sharp was very tidy today for me). With Obst and Houghton buzzing round the ruck and keener support players behind the likes of Lauaki, Moa and Manu we could, to use an Agarism, give it a real dig. This is the frustration for me - unfulfilled potential of what could be a very handy attacking side.

Lack of ambition for giving credit for a win? Are you arrogant enough to just expect to win games because we are Hull FC?

Lack of ambition because people are acting as if beating a team who shipped 82 points last week is some kind of major achievement. As I say, some people rejoice in mediocrity

You see you are now just making it up as you go like you did the other week after the Wigan game. There is no rejoicing going on, just giving credit for a win and a good comeback.
In fact most people have said that it does not change much and we need to back it up.
It just does not suit your argument to give the coach/players any credit.

It suits you to look for any tiny glimmer of hope or positivity even though it's blindingly obvious that there is none there.
Neither of us attended yesterday so aren't in a great position to comment really but it sounds like it wasn't a great performance. Yes, we came back but how much of that was down to quins switching off when they were well ahead? For all we know, the performance may have been the same level or worse than the wakey one, yet you still look to give credit?
If we can win the next 4 games then I'll start to believe we've turned a corner but 15 minutes of catch up rugby is not exactly season changing for me or most others

No positives then Jake? Even you must of been impressed with 4 tries in 12 minutes?
People are aware of the problems, they just like to take the game for what it was, a good fight back, showing character.
Or is it the fact that Agar made some tactical decisions and they came off that's really getting to you?
