Ordered ours a week ago today and they came on Monday to install it. We've got a Panasonic Viera 42" Plazma and the pictures are superb. Best thirty odd pence a day we've spent in years! Can't wait for the season to start. We'll get a taster tomorrow with the Four Nations Final.

Just a word of warning re Sky Hd. As I'm sure you are aware the Hd also incorporates Sky +. Well the Sky + falls over ( I.e you come home to watch the programme you've recorded only to find it hasn't cause the box crashed) at lease 2-3 times more than standard When recording in Hd. For this reason I never record the rugby in HD as it's so unreliable.

I fine that i need to de-static my sky box once a month by unplugging for ten mins or so. That tends to make me not have any fails. Do you do that? |

Don't pay for the installation !! I didn't
Call them to cancel your sky subscription. Tell them that you want HD but that you feel that you're being ripped off with the additional charges. Offer to take HD but ask them to install it for free. Tell them that you WILL cancel if you don't get this deal. I still paid the £29 fee but got my account credited with the same ammount (the system didn't allow him to give it to me for nothing so this is how we agreed the deal). He had to go off to the speak to the Manager to get it authorised, or maybe he just read his newspaper for a few minutes but i got the deal i wanted in the end.
Hope this helps. Oh and by the way, that step by step guide to get ITV HD was dead easy. Sorted it now. Thanks to the poster.

Did that with sky+....told em if i didnt get it for nowt they could stick it up thier arris.........got sky+ fitted end of the wk. |
