Why would we let Houghton out on loan and keep Lee, beggers belief, all I can put it down to is that the people who put this are either his family his mate or himself.

Did the second half on Sat tell people anything we need the go forward players like him, Moa and Maloney Burnett, if we ever going to improve, for me if Berrrigan doesn't improve he can go as his perfromances have been nothing special.

Have it on very good authority that Houghton will play next year for a club in Hull but not with FC after it...

If 8 or 9 players are going then surely we need to be signing 8 or 9 new ones. So far we have 5 new ones including Lauaki. There are persistent rumours about another couple but we still need another 2 or 3 IMO.

Hull still have another 4 signings to announce. To be fair to Jon Sharp he has seen what needs changing and is ensuring next years squad is truly his. So many signings will probably take a season or so to bed in but you could well be challenging again in 2011.

Berrigan is a (world) class act as we all know but so is (or potentially will be) Houghton,
give Houghton a proper chance at 9 with Lee as his backup, i'm sure he will do an excellent job and that position could be filled for years ala Cunningham, not just for the next couple of seasons.
Play Berrigan in the centres or just let him go to free up massive cap space for another centre if Agar think he can get a better one in than him.
its all about cap space and future planning and imo this would be a good step to take.

With that new look pack and 4 additional signings, with Long at 7 i can see us having a really good 2010. 2011 may be even better depending who we follow up and sign that year. We are only a 7 away from been competetive this season, imagine when we have a brand new 'mean' pack?
