Made one terrible defensive error when he let Burrow run over him but otherwise I agree. One of his better performances. |

The all too short come back inteh second half doesn't even start to paper over the cracks of another woeful defencive display.
Singling out Graeme Horne is nothing short of scandalous. Hulls defencive line is too tightly set in the middle of the pitch which means a desparate scramble as the opposition throw the ball wide (which virtually all other SL teams do with speed and accuracy, something we appear unable to do). Its no coinsidence that we let tries in on the corners with such frequency which there is hardly any cover out wide.
But of course, to some Graeme Horne is an easy scape goat.
Well, as I have said a few times in the recent past, Kirk Yeaman needs to be dropped. If any one player cost up time and again it was him. 4 times last night he shot out of the line to miss his man, 3 of which ended up in tries within 2 play the balls. On another 3 occasions he couldn't accurately pass to his winger for what would have been straight forward chances. The one break he does make, after Manu put in in the gap, he proved he doesn't have the pace to convert then and makes it that bleeding obvious what he would going to do that the chance went begging.
Yeaman, Not fast enough, cannot pass, cannot draw a defender, misses too many tackle jumping out of the line. DROP HIM.'"

I dont think it was an error, he was in the D line facing up and Berro, Lee & Tickle had thier backs to him jogging back, had they been backpeddling they could have offered some help to Radford. There was only one outcome, the littlest player v a prop in broken play, he didn't have a chance. |

| I wouldn't "single out" G Horne for last night's display but how many chances is he going to get ?? There where some real positives about last night for me, Whiting was more than comfortable yet again (is there actually a position in which he doesn't look comfortable?), Berrigan was back to his best and Moa was everything in an impact prop that we haven't had all season.
G Horne, for me, shouldn't be anywhere near our 17. He offers little in attack and his defence is nothing short of woeful. Surely to god, he is playing out his final days as an FC player ?? Whiting and Moa have both done much more than should be necessary for a contract renewal but if our recent retention policy is anything to go by, they'll both leave and we'll keep G Horne !!!  |

Senior seems to get better and better. Horne wasnt good but dont think he was that bad. Raynor could well have helped him out more too. (and the ref should have done his job properly too)

How G Horne has recovered the centre spot off Whiting is baffling, these are decisions that let Agar down badly and leave his decision making as a coach wide open to scrutiny and criticism.

Burrows would beat just about anybody one on one in similar situations. |

That was then, this is now, you cannot expect a player to pick up his form after injury, Whiting has deserved to keep his spot on PRESENT form. |
