No Scrum Half and crap passing technique.

What happens if the scrum half can only pass right to left?

That would be covered under crap passing technique.

Any professional should be able to pass both ways and if not should be practicing it until he can.

Plenty dont though.......Cooke wasnt a great left to right passer.

Richard Horne`s distribution on the right hand side has been woeful.
Yesterday all he wanted to do was his trademark dip of the shoulder and go.
Brilliant when it comes off but stifling any movement of the ball down the right.

I know it’s not a ‘fashionable’ opinion but I thought Hall was the worst of a poor back three.

He doesn’t look comfortable at all and IMO he lacks bottle. Having got used to Briscoe (Shaun) and Tony putting their bodies on the line it is very apparent Hall isn’t as willing to do so. He dangles his arms out when taking high balls, he stops running before he reaches the defensive line and he takes his eye off the ball when supporting others – things you couldn’t associate with the Briscoe and Tony.

I had to laugh when Calderwood produced a quick PTB which Hall knocked on and some numpty behind me said ‘Bloody Calderwood, playing the ball far too quickly!’

Which appears to me to be a major problem. It shows a lack of professional pride when professional players of any sport are not prepared to work on the weaknesses in their game. I dont really play any sort of rugby but I'm confident that if I spent fulltime hours practicing and training I'd be able to kick for touch further than any of our players seem capable and pass it faster and more accurately in both directions.

Apart from the 2times he did and set up trys.

Especially with Tickle only offering the run back inside as any option.

That is correct, but unfortunately Salford spent large chunks of the game camped on our try line as a result of his errors.
