Yesterday while looking for the link that explains why football get visas sorted more easily, I stumbled across the info that a loan move requires a visa - I'd assume the same is true for RL.
Loans
If a player is moving to another club on loan then the new club must make a fresh application before the player can play for them. If the player does not meet the criteria and the club have requested a panel, the panel will be arranged.

My opinion is based upon what you as Hull supporters have posted, and looking at the players you must replace next season.
My point, which you managed to miss spectacularly, is that a good base is needed to build a champion side, Hull seem to build a good base every year but never add to it. You just seem to move on good players and replace them with good players, and I don’t see that trend changing! |

Rumoured to have been going to sign him you mean, although I can't see the previous board wanting have spent the money Pearson is happy to spend, which is probably why we are getting close to getting players like this on board.
By the looks of the press releases today if the Visa application goes through he will be a Hull player next year so you won't have to wait for too long to be rid of him.
However like another poster said is there any legs in getting him on loan, you won't have a player that doesn't want to be there or his salary. We have a player we need now with a view to permanent deal next year, we obviously have the cap space for him now. |
