What was Gleeson sacked for and have we offered him a contract?

Do the two clubs have different discipline rules, by that I mean would Gleeson have broke ours if he would have committed the same offences at Hull?

I think Gleeson is worth a punt. I'm a big Rich Whiting fan but we all know about his lack of pace and that's why I don't think he'll ever be a great centre. If Gleeson had picked that loose ball up he'd have scored and that's something we sorely need in the side at the moment. That said, I'd still find a place for Whiting somewhere in the 17.

Gleeson hasn`t signed yet . If he does he comes to Hull FC with a clean slate like Tansey did.
Tansey broke the rules and was shown the door. The same would apply to Gleeson.
A player of his quality should be snapped up by the Club . I`m sick of all the rubbish spouted on here about the Club`s lack of ambition. If Gleeson is available we should go for him.
For trying to sign a player of Gleeson`s ability Hull FC can not be called for lack of ambition.

It's not double standards and suggesting that it's "shameful" is a tad melodramatic.

AFAIW Gleeson was discliplined once by Wigan for reasons not in the public domain. Nothing to do with us.

Tansey was sacked for breaching the Hull FC code of conduct three times.

Either way the club and coach are in dire straits right now and need to do something. I can fully see why they would take on a high risk signing like gleeson given the current circumstances and whilst I don't think it will be the right thing to do longer term I'd do the same thing in their shoes.

Gleeson is a total bell end and the fact that people are happy to sign him just shows the depths we have fallen to. Joke signing if its comes off and joke club. Fecking shambles the lot of you

If we have made an offer to Gleeson I hope its match terms till the end of the season, that way it becomes a win win for everyone, he gets to play if he doesn't behave its bye bye and if he does we get a good centre for the remainder of the year. One stumbling block may be the settlement from Wigan does it have any conditions etc.

I'd have him, he's a quality player. Surely, if he behaves while in a Hull shirt it should not matter that he transgressed at Wigan, Wire and Saints.
