I'm not on about who would have been the better signing, I'm on about perceptions and hindsight. If we'd have signed a relative unknown and Long had gone elsewhere the [iperception[/i would have been that we were aiming too low.
I'm beginning to think that some of our signing may well be influenced by this idea. |

on that basis Radford will be the new head coach Cooke was his assistant before they had a spat. |

 On a serious note, I wouldn't mind seeing a young unproven aussie come here and take charge if Agar had a spot of gardening to do. It would be great to see a former player such as Swainy, Jason Smith or even the legend that is Tony Grimaldi!! Surely they would be better then Agar. |

Your right on the mark with this.
For the life of me I cannot understand how some fans on here cannot see what a good job noble has done in ALL of his League positions. The only post that he can have critism levelled at him is the GB one but that is a poisoned chalice.
It seems we have fans who believe only the biggest names in the world are good enough regardless of whether they are right for the current club structure.
For me Noble has stepped into three clubs that were underperforming and turned them round, How is he not the right coach in peoples eyes is beyond me. Even if it is just for a couple of years. |

As much as id love to see a top class coach installed at the club, i just dont feel anything will change long term until the current board are gone
