Not many British players could get a contract with an NRL club at the age of 21. He has also made a respectful 8 appearnces in the roosters first 11 games, so he must have impressed in the short time that he has been there.'"
To say he is one of the brightest prospects is a complete joke there are many players in the british game ahead of him in that department, as for the NRL didn't Thorman play in the comp aswell and look at peoples views about him

10603.jpg Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?:10603.jpg |

No Thorman had a season at Parramatta and had minimal first team experience. Tansey, before this weekend, had played a part in 8 of the roosters first 11 games. Pretty good going imo.
The only reason Tansey left Leeds for the Roosters was because Webb, Sinfield and Burrows, 3 quality players, occupied the positions he prefers to play. If he had still been at Leeds he would have been a shoe in for Englands game against France next week, you know that came that has some of you reds creaming your pants because you have 2 players in it.

I absolutely blame the board if they're missing the blindingly obvious, mind you nothing would surprise me with spinmaster rule

Your second point smacks of double standards RBA. I have a text claiming that Tasey would be 'the signing of the year' from a certain Rovers fan when he was liked with a move to Rovers!

That is correct but why blame the board when they have simply come to an agreement that he deserves a chance and they will give him time and help to create his team and if that doesnt work then they will have given him the rope to hang himself (so to speak !!)
He does deserve a chance to build and use his own team. If it will work or not is a totally different matter !!!!

Can you honestly see things changing even if he puts a totally new team together
A good coach gets the best out of average players and if it's all about bringing his own team in,why didn't he say when offered the job no thanks i'll wait a couple of years because half the team here is $hit when there contracts are up i might consider it

Well the board are really spending the cash for next season and so im sure they are hoping it wont be a wash out but a new fresh look team.
Im as frustrated as you and would love to see a fresh new coach but I think whatever Agar has said to the board about wanting his own side and not an inherited one they have bought it and they are to give him a chance of that next season.
