Plenty of other SL clubs signing players well into their 30s. Catalans do it on the regular and Rovers not afraid to offer aging players a deal.

There will always be some on here that try and make a case for the signing of any player
The next stage now will be im quite optimistic now for next season.

Put whatever spin on the clubs recruitment you want but its poor with no strategy.

Rapira coming as a full back or wing when we are equiped there unless has been said Walker is leaving.
Sezer a halfback who failed miserably whilst at Leeds yet is deemed good enough for Hull FC.

There cannot be many on here that honestly think that the clubs recruitment for 2025 is good.
its P-ss poor with no strategy and full of average ageing Joes who will spend most of the time sitting in the stands due to injury.

Looking at it as a whole, I'd say we've improved the squad overall. Does it still have gaps? 100% I don't think anyone would deny that.

The club has been on a slow and steady decline for the last 5 plus seasons, it might take a steady increase to get back to where we want to be.

Most sensible post on here for a while.

Do I expect to be ecstatic next season? No. Will it be a start of a climb back up the ladder? Yes I think so

I do think our situation is amplified by how well Rovers are doing. I'm sure they felt the same in 16/17.

After all, constant negativity from the terraces has proven over time to be a major benefit right? Remember when we used to turn much better sides over at Boulevard just with our support? I don’t think you ever see an upside, or think anything other than short term. Plus the market is limited. The club is trying to rebuild not buy 13 superstars who are 25 yrs old. We are lucky in several ways that should make all hull fans happy- no relegation, some money has come in, a good youth system, some useful signings, some good signings, yes, some unknowns, a new coach. We have Myler and Ellis who have contacts too. Think we’ve done well given the context. Your mindset will challenge all that but that’s your way I guess. Look on the bright side

Still think we will sign 2 more players, a centre and a forward.
