One even wants to be on their own again cos after all they were so successful pre KC Stadium . Mind Blowing.'"
Yes, I visit their forum on a regular basis. Particularly, when I'm feeling depressed and need a good laugh. What a set of self-righteous loons these posters are. I'm sure the majority of City supporters would be embarrassed by the tripe these people come out with.

| ' originallambrettaman from the not606 - They're not going to suddenly move out, any move would be years away and is highly unlikely anyway. Though if we do move, thanks to your owner, we only pay a percentage of the ticket money over a certain value, so no ticket sales, no money owed, so there is no lease to be paid off.
I find that hard to believe regarding City's lease if they moved out.

If that's the same Lambrettaman who has been posting on here he's already demonstrated a lack of understanding of contract law so I wouldn't put too much faith in any of his claims.

| That not606 forum is a dangerous place as it must scramble the brains of the frequent users!!!
StrovolosTiger
"Nowhere to go?..............................Wrong.
Buy out lease.................................Peanuts!
Planning permission..........................ERYC would go down on bended knees for this for jobs and income!
Allam's haven't got the money...........That's the funniest yet. Allams will be worth £750m this year plus if we go up it will be worth another £150m plus we would be in bed with Tescos, Hilton, Total Fitness etc etc."
That's the best laugh I've had for ages. I'd forgotten that ERYC were so desperate for Assem Allam to build a stadium they'd ignore all due process and planning restrictions and type of use for the land and grant the Planning permission on bended knees & Tesco, Hiltons & Total Fitness were chomping at the bit to hand over their wads of cash to invest. All this on top of Allems supposed net worth which obviously means they have the amount of captial needed for such a project free and available.
The East Yorkshire region must be such a hotbed for investment for all these companies that throwing money into all these developments in Hull & East Yorkshire.........................
The problem is that Assem Allam called HCC bluff last time by threatening to move to Melton and it didnt work, now he is just doing more posturing to try and engineer a way of getting the ownership of the KC.

| If Hull pay £600k per year into the pot (most in super league so I believe) how much do City pay, must be over £1million?
How does the stadium lose so much money? and what is the deal with franchised food outlets, how on earth can they lose £70k per year at the rugby?
Back to my earlier post, how does Huddersfield with two teams how both have lower crowds and with my initial comment a rugby club that must pay less into the pot make £200k profit each year? Looking at the figures £400k profit each year and over £12million Net worth. Older stadium, less crowds better management?

city pay £1m
they don't lose £70k as such its a subsidy
we are guaranteed £70k each year as that what how much we made from in food and drink sales at boulevard and shane richardson negotiated this into our deal for the kc

So per game at the KC City pay less than Hull even with bigger (inflated?) gates?
It must have been hard to set up the original agreement as both clubs were going into the unknown. With over a decade of experience and books you would think now was a sensible time to get this sorted.

FC pay around £46,100 per match (x 13) = £599300
City pay around £43,450 per match (x 23) = £999350

| The Allams are blaming the SMC losses on a number of factors they claim were inherited from previous owners, and binding commitments that now appear to be unpalatable. Clearly, when they bought the SMC, they knew what they were buying into so there's no justification for the current wringing of hands and finger pointing.
One thing that is intriguing me, however, is the £3.5M mortgage they inherited
What was this mortgage for, and what was it secured against? It can't have been SMC assets as they don't own any. I was talking to a Hull City fan today and he believes it was taken out to rlbuy the land at Melton for City's new training facilitiesrl. And therefore would be secured against that land.
If this is the case a few questions arise
But if the mortgage wasn't for Hull City's purposes, what has the SMC spent £3.5M on 4 years ago?
