Bobby Fulton, right age range

IMO Berrigan is one of Hull's best 5 players (not the same as best value for money, btw). Is that fair? Given, as well, his versatility and fed-trained status , I can't understand why Hull would be willing (even keen?) to let him go - unless they have something very impressive up there sleeve. But I just can't imagine who that might be.

anybody got any rumours? the last rumour i saw was we'd put in a bid for myler but apart from that this thread seems more like speculation so.... isaac luke hasn't been mentioned in a while or nathan fien. i would imagine those type of players would go nicely at hull. maybe there's more chance of signing either of them than cooper cronk

The point I made was just because Berro goes and we have the space and cash it does not follow that a marquee name will be available so people saying we have to sign a top player need to realise there might not be any available at this stage. If there is then great but just becuase we lose one does not mean another one is available.

FWIW I would find it more plausible that we are looking at scrum-half/hookers rather than stand-offs. sean long is clearly entering his final season whereas if rich horne plays a blinder than we may sign him for 2012. add to that the fact that we need a scrum-half/hooker then i would be surprised if we were looking at players like Braith Anasta. a player in the mould of isaac luke or nathan fien would make more sense
