| Quote: BlackNwhite "i said at the begining of the season i think tansey would be our player of the year, maybe i was wrong as fitz and ogre are quality, and also whiting has shone great guns. If he carries on as he is, even if he doesnt get player of the year id be very happy with his contribution (so far)'"
He can kick 40/20's, pretty much guarantees him a knighthood at the KC!

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
Regards,
Matthew[/quote:3e09qe5x]:23521.jpg |

that's what I'd presume, if hall goes maybe we'll promote another young lad from our u20's.

| I rate Mathers as good as any British FB IMO.
Played very well this season, most Warrington fans don't want him to leave.
Tansey has been mostly excellent for this at FB, so unless tehy played him at 6 instead of Horne, then it would seem a pointless signing.

10603.jpg Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?:10603.jpg |

The statement in bold is a little OTT for me.
Tansey has been pretty good with the ball in hand but has been far from excellent imo.
Defensively I think he is poor and has a lot of improvement to do in this area. I personally feel that 4 of the trys we have conceded in the past two games highlight this and could have easily been avoided with better defensive plays and decision making by Tansey.

| Mathers has been in great form this season but we already have Tansey so it would be a pointless signing, we could move Tansey to 6 and drop Horne but there are no grounds for that and I don't see it happening.

Tansey has been mostly excellent this year, he is safe under the high ball and mostly catches on the full. Which shows he has good positional sense.
I have no idea why people are trying to find flaws in him that simply aren't there.

He isn't Shaun Briscoe, and therefore not a 'proper' full back in some people's eyes.
Simplez.

| Even Briscoe is admitting that he's lost his mojo of late. I was one of the ones that wanted to keep him but think we have better in Tansey now.

Full backs are a third pivot nowadays, all Australia's fullback are excellent with the ball in hand, the days of old style full backs like Briscoe are over.

If you are not part of the solution then you are more likely part of the problem...: |

| I still worry abou stand off next season.
Horne form and injuries are a major concern.
Also long will miss a few games aswell.
Signing Mathers would allow Tansey who I think we can all see has the skills to play 6, play halfback.

| Or maybe we could bring in a young Championship specialist halfback as cover,
Anyone have any suggestions?
