| Annoying way to lose but heyho.
Sounds like a potentially costly night besides the points though. Houghton failed HIA, Taylor off injured, Carlos possibly banned and Litten potential HIA failed.
Could have a threadbare team next week.

| Truth be told people ask for size upfront but for me our backs just arent good enough at clearing our lines.
Litten seems to be making his errors on basic full back stuff. That said great effort considering down to 15 men. Puzzling decision to not have another prop play. Dont think Wigan were much better in the conditions but made more ground going forward.
Whilst its nice to see our goal line D is good we need to stop putting far too much preassure on ourselves. Some games we just seem to be in our own half.

| I've said it before and I'll say it again regarding Litten, he is still very young and learning and will have some inconsistencies and errors in him.

in reality nothing to play for in terms of the play offs.
I would certainly recall Balmforth and give him a run of games till the season end.
resilience in spades but offered nothing in attack and it was Wigans errors with Smith once again missing conversions that kept us in the game.

| Chalk that down to another woulda, coulda, shoulda. Can’t fault the effort or defence tonight, but needed more size from the bench tonight in a game which was going to be wet as with respect Lane and Lovodua ain’t going to make much impact.
Pity we never got going like last time we had a break.
Losing Houghton so early didn’t help and then Taylor before halftime leaving us with just Brown & Satae in the forwards.
Two teams that had errors a plenty in them tonight and a commentary pairing that was as bad.
Injuries could be more costly than the gallant loss.

| Can't believe all the negativity. Was any of you there?. The weather was appauling. The lads defended magnificently . The desire and effort 100%.We lost players. Don't get me wrong we made mistakes. But ATM we properly aren't good enough. Proud of the lads tonight. Watching them walk of tonight bloodied and desperately disappointed they deserve our applause.

| Golden point is a great concept. If we had got it our fans would be having a much happier journey home.
I dislike the draw concept. Sport is about winning. Not drawing.

| Agree. We where our on feet at the end. Didn't even get near Smith as where out on our feet. He misses it's a draw. Gutted to be honest . But still in the mix.

| I think we're now at the point of no return. We probably need to win at least 3 maybe all 4 of our next games to give our selves a shot going into that last game with Saints.
Next game is huge, season on the line. And if we get that result then the one after is huge, season the line.

| Both sides were absolutely awful with the ball tonight but Hull tackled their hearts out and showed a resilience that hasn't been there for years prior to Smith coming in.
