| Quote: Sebasteeno "Sorry to burst anyone's bubble but my mate who lives in Oz called out the Reynolds signing saying he was finished and was just coming for a final payday as he was done in the Nrl. He's just said the same about Evans and also said wtf are FC and Hodgson doing?
Do people really expect the signing of Mckintosh, Lovadua and Evans are gonna suddenly change the team as I don't? I said a few weeks back we'd sign some supposed high profile player to try and sell season tickets and Evans is that except he's pretty poor - Should of let him sign for wakefield.
Another long hard season next year. If the bottom three get relegated to super league 2 we'll be lucky to not be in that bottom three imo. At best I'd say 8-9th.'" sometimes you even suprise me with you negative comments, i honestly dont know why you follow Hull FC if you even do

| I think people need to put the signing into context, it's not as if Evans is being signed as our marquee prop, he's an upgrade on Bowden and will give us that boost in games when we have both of Satae and Sao on the bench which is where teams tend to dominate if we've got Bowden and Fash as our props on the pitch at the time in that 20-40 minute period. Evans will hopefully provide us with that go forward and like Hodgson said provide an offload and help to develop that part of game.

| Sounds like Hodgson still wants to bring a few more in, but some will have to leave. Think we know who they are.
I'd give Hodgson a B+ if the recruitment stays as it is.
If we can move JJ and Bowden on and replace them with another forward and a half he gets an A+

| Won't knock Evans until he's I've seen him. Play he's taken alot of flack for stepping over the line with his emotions, but I've also seen comments from fans saying they wished some of his team mates gave a toss as much as Kane, if anything he's been guilty of coming on and wanting to influence the game maybe abit too much, that shows he cares
Can we say that about all our squad?
I think his attitude is exactly what we need he plays with maximum effort and gusto, as someone's brilliantly pointed out he's not a marquee signing, he's a big upgrade on Bowden
welcome to Hull Kane make sure it Continues here

| Interesting article in the HDM with Kane Evans further down he states “I used to be a really good runner, but I’ve sort of transitioned into a better defender.
At the moment I’ve been doing some speed training to try and get that balance and get back that explosive running game, it’s not been as good as it was, but just physical and explosive, that’s how I like to play”.
Sounds promising at least.

It's a good article for those that haven't read it.

Would like to see us sign a back tbh. Faraimo and Fonua out, Wynne missing a chunk of pre season, McIntosh in,

| Don’t know if to read too much into this piece rlhttps://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/sport/rugby-league/hull-fc-pack-feared-hodgson-6135528rl but no mention of Taylor by BH when saying about how Evans will go ‘with Chris, Ligi, Manu & Andre’.

Think another forward or halfback is the priority, for the first time in years we seen to have lots of backs rather than forwards coming though.
We have, Scott, Walker, Ferria, Barron, Speed, along with Griffin, Carlos and Wynne.
We also have Shaul, who i'm guessing is staying.

Taylors done nothing under Hodgson, so is right to exclude him, earn the right to be peaised

I agree
very lucky to be still under contract otherwise he also would have been offered out.
What i cant understand with Taylor is that whilst injured he didnt keep his upper body in shape.
That to me shows lack of interest/professionalism and what does that say to his team mates

And Swift. What I'm saying is that after our first choice back 5 of:
Connor
Swift
Tuimavave
Griffin
McIntosh
We're into youngsters pretty much, sounds like Shaul only wants to play FB.

Shock, horror, Connor Wynne, "I’d like to see myself there as a full-time centre to be honest."
But never gets a mention, unlike Shaul, who's been criticised since he was on loan at York, hundreds of years ago.

So, players are about to return from a few weeks break and start 14 weeks pre-season training to get fit the new season.
Scott Taylor suffers a serious foot injury which takes 12 weeks before he can start running for the first time in an anti-gravity machine.
And you expect him to be in tip-top condition.
Please don't remind me of his upper body shape, you've mentioned it plenty of times before.
